The radio system provides mission critical communications for: Maryland State Police, State Highway Administration, Maryland Transportation Authority, Maryland Transit Authority, Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Aviation Authority, Maryland Medical Emergency System. The radio system also supports interoperable communications throughout the State of Maryland between State agencies and with county/local, bordering States and Federal public safety agencies.

Designed ESMR/ IDEN/ Cellular systems in the Washington, DC metro area and directed construction, maintenance, and integration. Oversaw four engineers, six performance engineers, and three drive testers.

Created and maintained wireless data systems managing staff of 3 engineers, 26 technicians, and 4 supervisors. Collaborated with manufacturers including Motorola and Glenayre to promote new CDMA, TDMA, Pocsag, and FLEX-based protocols. Played a key role in the design of linear-based transmitters and receivers used for high-speed, wireless data transmissions. Facilitated propagation studies, selected appropriate equipment, and built, installed, tested, and maintained systems.
